I think the point that Skaterkid1995 is trying to address is this: Why would she break up with him then text him as a friend in order to prove that he really does care? Not all guys are apart of the whole rule where we don't know what we have until it's gone concept. That's not the case for some guys because they know what they have is special. By taking it away your not proving something to him but to yourself in that you're either affirming or revoking the notion that he doesn't care.

U guys r both right but it can also be that she isn't sure of herself it's eather she thinks that skaterkid is 2 good 4 her or that she isn't sure that she wants 2 be in a relationship in that time frame
