I think she hates me!!!

Ok so this isn't any boyfriend/girlfriend problem, but I really need some help. I'm a 15 year old girl and my sister is 12. We have never really been that close, but I've always wanted to be. She like can't go a day without making fun of me. Whenever I want to hang out with her, she tells me to go away. She always asks our 9 year old brother to do stuff with her, and never me. Also, whenever she has a friend over, she gets them to make fun of me and annoy me too. I don't know why she does it, but I just can't take it anymore!!! I really think she hates me and I don't know what I did to her!!! Please help me!!! PLEASE VOTE UP!!!

She doesn't hate you. It's called being a teenage girl and going through crazy mood swings. the fact you weren't close also makes her feel detached from you. Just keep trying and I really doubt she "hates" you ;)

That's what brothers/sisters do. I do it to my brother but I don't hate him. Trust me she doesn't hate you.

Yea I don't think she hates you either. Us girls in general are pretty emotional and moody...especially in teen years.

Explain to your parents a little and then invite her to go to a movie with you...and let her pick the film. Get there a little early so u can do girl talk. Share something new about you that maybe she doesn't know about. Doesn't have to be a deep convo...just keep it lite and fun. Somewhere during or towards the end, let her know you'd like to do something next week with her to. Be cool about it -- easy n breezy LOL!!

If u let your parents know ahead of time that your trying to spend time with her to get closer/ rebuild a friendship...I'm sure they'll support your efforts!

When you're a kid it's great to be able to make fun of someone older and get away with it. Make fun of her right back, but be clever about it. Make it witty and intellegent so that it will be funny. I know it doesn't seem like "the right" thing to do, but I have 4 younger siblings and I've been through similar things.

^^^ that above me won't get you anywhere. Talk to your sister about it, or your parents. And try to do things your sister likes to do, that you like too.

this is exactly the same as me and my sister exept we dnt have a bravaa now what I do is I compliment her and she starts being nicer also make sure that ur not mean to her coz I no I am to my sister... Anyway juss when u see her say heyyyyyy and start talking, me and my sister are getting closer :)
